The European Rural and Isolated Practitioners Association

Call for Abstracts

Calling all rural general practitioners/family doctors and researchers!

Welcome to the Call for Abstracts for the 1st EURIPA Rural Health e-Forum.

The title of the e-Forum is:

How Rural and Remote General Practice/Family Medicine is respondingto the challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic - now and for the future

And we will learn about the impact of the current pandemic across Europe, identify good practice and look to the future of rural family medicine.

This will be a real conference not just a webinar, and we are planning an interesting and exciting programme with all the typical different sessions: oral presentation,  posters, workshops, keynote lectures and a Rural Café.  There will be prizes for the best oral communication and the best poster.

Of course, there will also be free standing presentations: so please don't hesitate to present an abstract of your topic even if its not on the Covid-19 pandemic.

It will feel different to our usual Forum as we won’t all be in the same space but we are planning an interactive event and there will be the opportunity to meet in small discussion groups as well as the larger sessions.

Authors will need to register for the e-Forum, but the conference fee will be affordable, and attendees will receive a certificate of attendance as usual.

Please do not miss the opportunity to participate in this exciting and innovative meeting - we look forward to reading your abstract.
